Hello!

My name is Cole VanWieringen, when I was younger my dad would say, "Have fun. Be fun. Don't be funny." I have no idea what that meant but I find it hilarious.
"Professionally" I am a video editor / post production specialist with years of experience. Proficient in a variety of software, including the Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop). Skilled in motion graphics, audio post, color correction and everything needed to finish any type of production!
Additionally, I have a strong understanding of all aspects of video content creation, from pre-production through post-production. Experience in camera operation, storyboarding, lighting, and more!
With skills across video production and design principals, I can be an asset to any creative project. Reach out if you'd like to work together!

Personally, I am someone drawn to the nature and nerdy sides of life. I thoroughly enjoy exploring nature and I love staying inside with a cozy game, it's a balance. I like entertainment, art, and being around friends, not much more to say.

Current Favorite Film: Big Trouble in Little China

Hobbies
I am always juggling a random assortment of interests from video work to game design to spending time in nature. I've had a ton of hobbies come and go, my back wont let me skateboard anymore, but lately I have been diving into the tabletop game space.
From role-playing to dice-rolling, I am obsessed. Here is a random gallery of things I've painted, games played and other projects.
Game Design
I have done a lot in hobby game design over the years. It has all been for friends, family or myself, but I would love to pursue it in a more professionally. My interests plans across board games and videogames, with a focus on the conceptual design of gameplay.
I intend to expand this section at a later date but here are some older game design projects.
Murder on Mt Peak is a mystery game inspired by clue based around a local recreational hiking spot. It is a lot of inside jokes for my family but has some interesting mechanics including an alternate play style with pet companions.
This is a simple board game that is unfinished and has gone through various names from Snow Siege to Snow Ballin' to simply Snow Ball Fight. Designed to be kid friendly with simple math, it is a really fun head-to-head game.
I made this explainer video some years ago that goes over the concept and rules. As a bonus you can hear my censual voice acting.
